Skin R&R is even more intensely hydrating with targeted ingredients to increase the skin’s ability to retain more moisture. Although it is designed for more mature skin, it is effective for anyone with very dry skin. Skin R&R has a sublime floral scent, and because so little is needed, there is no heavy or oily finish.

Most women use Skin Protect in the morning and Skin R&R at night for 24 hour protection and rejuvenation. Some of our customers living in extreme winter climates or high altitudes will apply an initial layer of Skin Protect in the morning immediately followed by a secondary layer of Skin R&R for maximum protection and hydration.

Sensitive skin can mean different things to many people.

In general, synthetic ingredients are much more allergenic compared to the purity of NovaBotanica products.

To date, we have never had any negative reactions to any of our products. We have customers with acne and dry skin combinations, rosacea, and historically extremely sensitive skin, redness etc. that have had superb results with Skin Protect.

However, we do recognize that people may have certain reactions even to extremely pure and natural ingredients. For this reason, we strongly recommend always skin testing any of our products to ensure no negative reactions. Generally, a .5oz bottle will last 3-4 months with twice daily use.

Because Skin Protect has marvelous spreadability, only 2 drops are needed with each application. Therefore, a little goes a very long way.

A 1oz bottle typically lasts 6-8 months if you are using it twice daily.

Not all women use it twice daily as some use Skin Protect in the mornings and Skin R&R at night, therefore your Skin R&R will last even longer. It really is dependent on what combination of product you use and how much your skin needs.

You can, but it is so nourishing that most women find they don’t even need their creams anymore. If you do decide to use a cream, Skin Protect should be used over your initial cream application in order to seal in hydrating effects.

We at NovaBotanica do not produce a cream because most cream bases are not truly pure. However, we are in the process of formulating an ultra hydrating serum to be used under Skin Protect.

Skin Protect is a botanically alive and vital formulation. Because it is so ultra pure and contains no synthetic preservatives, it can be sensitive to heat. As a result, we strongly recommend refrigerating your Skin Protect in order to safeguard its therapeutic properties.

If you are purchasing a .5 oz bottle, then no refrigeration is necessary.

However, if you are purchasing a 1oz size bottle, and you live in a hot climate, then refrigeration is recommended. For this reason, we provide a refillable 1dram dropper vial. Simply include a note in your payment options that you would like a 1 dram vial with your order.

A 1dram vial holds a one-month supply of Skin Protect and can be safely kept with your other daily beauty products for your convenience.
